Bea and family- Mal and I were out of town when we heard of Todd's passing and we were just devastated . Mal always thought of Todd as his wonderful mentor and he will miss him. Todd would just light up a room when he entered. His smile was infectious and the world was better when he was around. We will always cherish his memory.

I talked to Todd two weeks ago and he encouraged me; and I was hoping with him that he would have a rapid and complete recovery. I was very saddened to learn of his passing. Not only for myself, but for his professional world. My association with Todd was primarily involving environmental issues and I had a very high regard for him professionally and personally. I offer my deepest sympathy to his family and associates.

Dear Bea:
I am so glad Marcia and I visited you and Todd in February. We knew Todd was not well then, and left your home with a heavy heart.
I first knew Todd in 1954 at the Air Base in Montana, where we were both part of the weather team.
It has been wonderful seeing both you and Todd at our annual "Weather Wizzards" reunions. Our prayers are with you and your family.

Bea: We are so sorry to hear of Todd's passing. We had dinner with the Peppers just last week while they were visiting DC and were speaking fondly of Todd and the rest of the old SRL crowd. We're still in touch with Helen and the Murphys. We all have very strong memories of that time, from Todd's infectious kindness and selfless mentoring to his pitching out the back of a raft on the Chattooga River. He was an unforgettable character. We wish you and yours all the best in this hard time and in the better times to come. Count on all of your great memories to help sustain you.
