Funeral services for Mrs. Barbara ?Miss Bobbie? Jean Dick, will be held Sunday, September 10, 2006 at 2:30pm at Trinity United Methodist Church , Aiken, with Rev. Rodney K. Powell officiating. Interment will be private in Putnam Cemetery, Greenwich, CT. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be directed to Trinity United Methodist Church, 2724 Whiskey Rd, Aiken, SC 29803 or Shriners Hospital for Children, 950 W. Faris Rd, Greenville, SC 29605-4277. Visitation will be from 6pm to 8pm, Saturday, September 9 at George Funeral Home and Cremation Center. 211 Park Avenue, SW, Aiken Mrs. Dick, 79 of Aiken, died Saturday, September 2, 2006 at Aiken Regional Medical Centers. A daughter of the late Hobart R. and Minnie Leach Mead, she was born in Greenwich, CT. Mrs. Dick, moved from Bantam, CT to Aiken in 1979 and work for many years as a waitress at Alvano?s Restaurant.. She was a member of Trinity United Methodist Church, Woman to Woman Club at the church, Grange Club, and the Cos Cob Ladies Auxiliary Fire Company. In addition to her parents Mrs. Dick was predeceased by her husband, Francis Joseph Dick, and a son, Ronnie Dick. She is survived by her son, David T. Brenda Dick, Aiken, grandchildren, James F. Andrea. Dick, Jeffrey Meghan Humphries; great grandchildren, Brittany Dick, Lauren Dick, Tyler Dick.
