We are praying for the family and have so many fond memories of Mildred. We live one street over from where Mildred and Van lived and our children mowed their lawn for years when they left for out of town. I still cook alot of Mildred's recipes and have wood work craft items from your father that remind us all the time what wonder friends they were to us here in the neighborhood and at church. Much love

We will long miss the hospitality and friendship of Miss Mildred. We enjoyed the conversations of friendship and encouragement - encouragement from her and to her! Our children will long remember the Christmas toys and wooden characters that have become part of our family traditions. God has blest our family by sharing the Van Vliet family with us. Our love to you and yours.

We loved Mildred & Van. Our hearts go out to the family, but our hearts are also full of joy for Mildred to finally be home with Jesus and Van in Heaven. I remember when they were starting to travel, they gave us all their beautiful rose bushes. We dug them up and loaded them in the truck, and Mildred and Van came out with three pages type written of how to care for them. We enjoyed those roses for many years, but can you imagine the beauty of the flowers they are enjoying in heaven? We still have and enjoy some of the wood working projects that they made, in fact, We have a parrot hanging on our front porch that they made. Van would cut things out and Mildred painted them. We enjoyed church dinners and fish fries , parties and the craft fair, and many other fun times with them. They were fun people and good friends. May God bless and comfort you and give you His peace in Mildred's going to Heaven. Looking forward to seeing them in Heaven some day. Lovingly, Jimm and Sue Ann Zajicek
