We loved Mildred & Van. Our hearts go out to the family, but our hearts are also full of joy for Mildred to finally be home with Jesus and Van in Heaven. I remember when they were starting to travel, they gave us all their beautiful rose bushes. We dug them up and loaded them in the truck, and Mildred and Van came out with three pages type written of how to care for them. We enjoyed those roses for many years, but can you imagine the beauty of the flowers they are enjoying in heaven? We still have and enjoy some of the wood working projects that they made, in fact, We have a parrot hanging on our front porch that they made. Van would cut things out and Mildred painted them. We enjoyed church dinners and fish fries , parties and the craft fair, and many other fun times with them. They were fun people and good friends.
