Lynne was an inspiration to us here at Public Education Partners as we stated the Garcia Theater Project for the high schools in 2005. With her degree and experience in theater arts, Lynne provided guidance to us and to the other teachers, some of whom were novices. She set a high standard for excellence right from the first, and we will honor her at the next festival in May, 2007. We are grateful for her courage and spirit, and for her dedication to her students was repaid with such obvious affection.

Mrs. Martin was a wonderful person to be around. She brought a smile to everyone around her. She was very brave and a very loving teacher. She was my homeroom teacher in 2003 and one of my mom's favorite clients at Powderhouse Kennels. She will be greatly missed and I hope we'll see each other again soon.

When I think of Lynne, I think of her energy and enthusiasm. I hope that she is up in Heaven dancing and singing or sharing her humor. Her dedication was remarkable, and she will continue to be an inspiration to those lucky enough to know her. Tom and Marcia, you and your family will continue to be in my thoughts and prayers as I remember Lynne.

So very sorry and saddened by Lynne's death. She was my daughter's favorite teacher in High School and I also was very fond of her at the tax office. A very brave soul, rest in peace.
