Memorial services for Eddie D. Williams will be held Sunday, September 9, 2007 at 2pm at George Funeral Home & Cremation Center, 211 Park Ave, SW, Aiken. Interment will be private. Mr. Williams, 55, of Aiken, died Wednesday night, September 5, 2007 from injuries sustained in an automobile accident. Born in Louisville, GA, he was the son of Mrs. Alma Ree Merritt Williams and the late James Carlos Williams, Jr.. He had been a resident of Aiken for over forty years and had been disabled for the last twenty years. Mr. Williams is survived by his wife of eighteen years, Connie Crabtree Williams of Aiken, mother, Mrs. Alma Ree Merritt Williams, Aiken, daughter, Lisa Michael Glenn, West Columbia, brothers, JR Williams, New Ellenton, JT Williams, North Augusta, sisters, Ruth Wise, Aiken, Rachael Jeffcoat, Columbia, grandson Dalton Glenn, Columbia, aunts, uncles and cousins.
