Even though I had not seen Debbie in years, I will never forget our childhood memories. We grew up together in the neighborhood in which she and I lived as kids. We would go to each other's house and play. I always thought she was a beautiful young lady. I didn't know that she had been so sick. My heart goes out to her husband and children and the rest of the family. They are in my prayers.

This is a time to celebrate Debbie’s life and her beautiful family. Debbie left a lot of funny memories she shared with my sister Betsy Cormany who was best friends with Debbie during their HS days. They loved riding around in Betsy’s blue VW singing “The Round about” and laughing at their own jokes. DEBBIE we will miss you greatly but we know you are now at home and peaceful. We love you and your big family. God bless your entire family my friend.

I remember when I met Debbie and thought how beautiful she was. She had a beautiful smile that would light up the room. Hank and I carpooled together and I heard about Debbie a lot. Debbie was one of the FIRST people I met when I moved to Aiken back in 1989 and decided to tackle the Aiken real estate market by her side when we both worked with Paula Blessing's agency - she has been a bright light I have had the pleasure to have crossed paths with numerous times around Aiken over the years - always happy, upbeat and interested in what YOU were doing - she was truly a beacon of light and joy - one of those people you are always happy to cross paths with and the world is a bit darker without her here. I first met Debbie in late 2000 and she became a Sister Friend for life. I close my eyes and fondly remember her contagious smile--her infectious laugh (we would laugh about anything, everything and everyone especially at ourselves) and how a planned one hour meeting would turn into four and the include breakast, brunch or lunch. But most of all, her heart of unconditional love and compassion I will miss the most. I love my friend - our friend. To her family and loved ones, my heartfelt prayers and thoughts are with you all. I love my friend - our friend. And we all will miss her terribly but just for a short time. Heaven is Amazing for Reunions.

So sorry for you loss Hank, Truly a sad day for Aiken and many of it's people. So much good to say about Debbie but no words to do it with.
