Mrs. Valna B. Horstman, 86, wife of the late Clyde Henry Horstman, died Saturday, March 8, 2003 at Aiken Regional Medical Centers, Aiken, SC. Memorial Services will be 4 PM, Sunday, at Saint Augustine of Canterbury Episcopal Church with Father Scotty Nead officiating. She was a native of Anaheim, CA, and daughter of the late Vachel Dennis and Lillie Tanner Boles. She was a member of Saint Lukes by the Sea Episcopal Church, Walport, OR, and was an Accountant for the San Diego Health Department for 10 years. San Diego for 60 years and retired to Waldport, OR, and lived there 10 years before moving to Aiken 9years ago. Survivors include her daughters, Valerie Morgan, Aiken, SC, Kathleen Russum, El Centro, CA, Faith Newell, Portland, OR, Sylvia Timmons, Santa Rosa, CA, son, Jim Leeper, San Diego, CA, eight grandchildren and six great grandchildren. The family wishes that memorials be made to Saint Augustine of Canterbury Episcopal Church Building Fund.
