Mrs. Fox, I am deeply sorry about the loss of your husband. One of the clearest teachings of God's Word the Bible is that dead loved ones will return to life. Bible accounts of past resurrections guarantee that "all those in the memorial tombs will hear (Jesus') voice and come out." (John 5:28,29) People alive at that time will find happiness as they meet those freed from death's grip. Meditating on this future miracle should comfort all who have lost dear ones in death.
