Funeral services for Mrs. Mildred Falls Jankusky will be held Saturday, November 27, 2004 at 11 AM from the graveside in the veteran?s section of Southlawn Cemetery, Aiken, SC. The family will receive friends Saturday morning from 9:30 until 10:30 at George Funeral Homes, Southside Chapel, 3175 Whiskey Rd., Aiken, SC. Mrs. Jankusky, 83, of Aiken, SC, wife of fifty-four years to Mr. Peter Jankusky, died suddenly Tuesday, November 23, 2004 at Aiken Regional Medical Centers. Born in Clinton, SC, a daughter of the late William E. and Mildred Holland Falls, she retired from the Bank of America and also moved to Aiken in 1983. She proudly served her country in the RAWACS during the Korean War. In addition to her husband, a daughter, Joanne Niemeyer, Lexington, SC, Ruth and her husband, James Patrick, Killingworth, CT, Patricia and her husband, Jerry Wilkie, Lexington, SC, and Mary Billerman, Aiken, SC; ten grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren, survive. Also preceding her is death were sisters, Sara Frances Rhodes and Annelle Davis, brother, William E. Falls, Jr., son-in-law, Louis Niemeyer, and grandson, Richard C. Wilkie. The family has asked that memorials in memory of Mrs. Jankusky be made to the American Cancer Society, P.O. Box K., Aiken, SC 29802
