It is always a shock when someone leaves us unexpectedly, especially when it is such an important and integral part of your family. Sometimes you don\'t always get to say the things you wanted to or do the things you intended to do. I think Grandma knew those things and was wise beyond her years. We are so happy for the time that we had with her and the strong female role model that she has provided for our daughters. God bless to Granpa Pete and all of the family. Although we lived far apart and had not seen each other for many years, Grandma was kind and helpful to me with my family history and genealogy research. Her letters and cards meant a lot to me.
