Funeral services for Mr. Delmar D. Wilson, 92, of North Augusta, will be held on Saturday, January 15, 2005 at 2pm at First Christian Disciples of Christ Church corner of Kerr Dr. & Silver Bluff Rd. Aiken. Interment will follow at Aiken Memorial Gardens. Pallbearers will be: Ray Cook, David Penn, Ben Sandefur, John Roth and Charles Bassi. The family will receive friends at the church, from 1pm until the time of the service. Memorial donations may be directed to First Christian Disciples of Christ Church Building Fund, 900 Kerr Dr. Aiken, SC 29803. The son of the late Thomas Franklin and Mamie Elizabeth Peters Wilson, he was born in Newton County, Missouri. He was a retired patrolman at the Savannah River Plant. Besides his parents, he was pre-deceased by a daughter, Delia Bryant. He is survived by his wife, Evelyn Steedly Wilson, North Augusta, a daughter; Ramona Penn, Augusta, GA, four grandchildren, five great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
