My thoughts and prayers are with you. My family did not know Eric personally but he made an impact on our lives that will last a lifetime. My husband Grover was diagnosed with cancer in August. When he began treatment in September Dr.Gill spoke to him about Eric and he became an inspiration to Grover. I truly believe my husband lived longer because he held on to the hope of someday meeting Eric. For that I will be forever grateful as Grover lost his own battle on October 30. Although I cannot know your grief at losing Eric please know I share your sorrow. May God bless you and be with you.

To the Griffin Family,
I just wanted to let you know just how much I miss Eric. We had so many good times at Publix. Not a day goes by that I don\'t think of him. I am so glad that I was able to spend time at the house the few times I came and the times at the hospital. It was so heart broken to see him at the end but now I do realize that he is in a better place. I know for sure that we have a wongerful, loving angel looking down on us. We all at Publx miss him so very much, and are honored to have been so lucky to know and work with him. We will forever miss Eric.

Hey Eric,
Denial, anger, bargaining, depression, and acceptance. Some theorist named Dr. Kubler-Ross proposed that, inevitebly, these are the 5 stages of grief, experienced by all who grieve. Well, I\'m not sure if there was a flaw in her "deductive reasoning," but I\'m still waiting on the acceptance part. Sadly, this tragedy puts things into bleek perspective, and the fact of the matter is, things will NEVER be the same without you Eric. Rest in peace bud, and God bless the Griffin family.

Bro. & Sis. Griffin, we are so sorry to hear of your loss. We have known of Eric through some good friends of ours who has had a heart for your family. She has shared the need of your family, and our church has been praying for Eric and your family for a long time. We are truly so sorry for your loss. We have not ceased praying for you that God would strengthen & comfort. We pray He will wrap His loving arms around all of you as you REST in HIM.

To the Griffin Family,
I was a friend of Eric\'s and working with him at Publix made the job so much fun. He was so funny and fun to be around. I now live in England at the present time and was not able to see Eric before he passed. I prayed for him and thought about him everyday.Visiting Aiken is not the same without him here. I miss him alot but i know he is in a better place watching over us all. God bless your family.

Eric was always a blast to hang out with and I regret losing touch with him over the past couple years. After visiting him in the hospital, his courage definitly had an impact on me. Eric\'s story amazes me. He had done so much at an age when most of us are just trying to fit in. It seems that Eric was driven and would not settle for ordinary. I think we can all learn from his example not to sit and wait for our own story to happen to us, but to actively pursue life with a passion and the story will be all around us.
