Barney and Shirley were very welcoming to us when we moved next door to them two years ago. Shirley and Scooter were the first to greet us. Soon after we meet Barney. What a wonderful gentleman. What a terrific couple to have as neighbors. Shirley told us about his old nickname so we started referring to him as "baby face". It never failed to tickle him. Barney loved to laugh. We enjoyed our many "ice cream socials" with them. We will greatly miss our good friend and neighbor.
