Barbara,
I was so sorry to learn of George's passing. I will always remember him with that great smile.
As the days go by and your longing increases, try to remember...
" His strength is perfect, when our strength is gone. He will carry us when we can't carry on. Raised in his power the weak become strong!"
Love,
Jan

Dear Barb and Family, When George's brother Steve and I were married 62 years ago on August 2d, 1946, that dear brother-in-law was an usher. He was like my own kid brother and I loved him dearly and still do. George was so special and what a sense of humor. No one could tell a story with gestures like he could. ENJOY HEAVEN, DEAR ONE!! My love and prayers are with all of you. Jane Kennedy Lorris

George Lorris was my uncle and we spent many holidays with him, his lovely wife, Barbara, and many family members. I always looked forward to Christmas because no matter where we lived, I knew I would see my "Uncle George". He had a gift for making you feel special and loved as a child and I adored him. His sense of humor was legendary in the family and he could have had a second career as a stand up comedian, his timing was impeccable. One of my favorite memories of him is when he and his brother my father performed a song and dance routine at a family reunion that had everyone in stitches. To my Uncle George, family was everything. He will always remain in my heart and I will miss him.
