I worked with Will in New Orleans and later in Savannah. I always enjoyed his friendship, and he was always a strong support when I need help. I'm sincerely sorry hear about his death. May God comfort all his family and sustain you with pleasant memories. God bless you all.

My friendship will Will Everett goes back to 1944 which is when we met as cadets at The Citadel. I was from Aiken at the time. In the 1950s we were together again as lieutenants in Company C 122 Engr. Bn, SC National Guard. He was four months older than I. You know what a great guy he was. My prayers go out for you.
Dear Audrey & family - I wish to extend my deepest sympathy to you and the family in the passing of Mr. Sommer. I was his secretary at the time of his retirement as Chief of Design Branch. He was a very special person who kept Design Branch running as a very fine tuned organization. Our prayers are with you and the family. June & Brad Broadwell
Dear Family, I was hired by Mr. Sommer in 1980 and started my career in the Mechanical Section, Design Branch, Savannah District. Then in early part of 1982 he moved me to a position directly below him where I worked extremely close with him until 1985. He was a great leader and mentor. I send my sympathy and prayers to every member of his family.
