Obituary of Roger Donophan Fuzzy'' Mills

There will be a service to celebrate the life of Mr. Roger Donophan ?Fuzzy? Mills on Thursday, October 21, 2004 at 2pm at Cedar Creek Church, Banks Mill Rd. Aiken. Visitation will be Wednesday from 5-7pm at George Funeral Homes Historic Downtown Chapel 211 Park Ave. SW Aiken. Memorial donations may be directed to Helping Hands of Aiken, 100 John Elliott Lane, Aiken, SC 29801.
Mr. Mills, 58, of Aiken, went home to be with the Lord on Sunday, October 17, 2004 at University Hospital in Augusta, GA. A son of the late J. L. and Martha Rayfield Mills, he was born in Mt. Croghan, SC and had lived in Florence, SC before moving to Aiken in 1971. He also maintained a farm in Windsor, SC. He was self-employed with M & H Housing of Aiken, which he opened in 1989. He previously owned the Sealtest Dairies, Aiken. He was a United States Marine and served his Country during the Viet Nam Conflict. Roger was a selfless man who touched many lives. He will greatly missed.
He is survived by his wife of 39 years, Greta Burris Mills, two daughters; Donna Darren Barnes, Charlotte, NC and Paula Johnny Gibson, Greenville, SC, a sister; Joanne Knight, Pageland, SC and three brothers; Joel Mills, Chesterfield, SC, Bobby Mills, Mt. Croghan, SC and Archie Mills, Charleston, SC. He is also survived by four grandchildren that were the light of his life; Hayden and Cameron Barnes and Will and Sam Gibson.
