Throughout Ms. Greta's stay in ICU, I had to perform several of her X-rays. I never had the opportunity to have an extended conversation with her due to her condition; however, I stopped several times to look at the pictures and read the family's notes that were displayed in her room. No matter what kind of evening I had endured, I always had a sense of peace when I entered her room. I always referred to her as "my little buddy" and I will miss seeing her.
I knew Betty through Houndslake Garden Club. She was my "caller" she notified me when the meeting was going to be held and checked to see if I were coming. She'll be missed by all who knew her. My heart goes out to the family.
Betty and I shared friendship and exercise by walking dogs at the SPCA for over 10 years. She was a very positive and delightful person whom everyone loved to be around. I am sorry since I no longer live in Aiken, I will not be at the service. My thoughts go out to the family for their great loss.
Betty and I worked together on the
3-11 shift at Pickering Manor for
four years. She was a wonderful
nurse,a dynamo really. Funny, kind
and compassionate. May she rest in
peace.
We wish to offer our sincerest sympathies on the passing of Betty. We knew Betty through membership at Houndslake CC and the golfing activities. We always enjoyed her company in golf, eating meals, enjoying drinks and social occasions. She had a zest for life, consideration and love for her friends, and had many, many friends. She will be sorely missed.
