I'm so sorry to hear about your mom's passing. I was trying to think of what I remembered about your mom, and the thing I remembered the most was the great birthday parties she gave when we were small. Funny how things like that stay with you forever. May all the memories of her comfort you in the days to come.

As best friends with her middle daughter, Debra, all through our growing up years, Mrs. Glance was like a second Mom to me. She was always quick to correct me when things weren't quite right, and always just as quick to praise me when it was needed. I can still hear her calling us to supper. She was quite the Mom in every way. I will always remember her in a special way.
