Moma Evette,
I don't know how i can put all that you blessed me with into words. You blessed me with my best friend and sister Portia. You taught us how to be loving, responsible, and respectful women. You made sure we knew not to take any mess from anyone and you filled a huge void in my life and never asked for anything in return. You were the very first person to tell me how proud you were of me. You never held back when i need to correct a mistake and you went to bat for me as if i were your own. The lessons you taught me are forever edged in my mind and heart as i pass them along to my daughters. I really do hate days like this when i hurt the most because i miss you but knowing we will see each other again keeps me going. I love you !!!!!
