So sorry for the passing of Jimmie. We were good friends with his whole family, when the kids were smaller. Clyde took my dad, Shorty and whole family to Baxley G.A., to visit our grandparents. We also took a trip to the beach with a church group, in Augusta. We had never saw the ocean before. Eulalie and my mom, Margie were the best of friends. My brother's loved to hang out wih the boys., Weaver, Frankie, and Phillip Hernndon. Prayers are being said in behalf of your family. Sue Herndon Grizzard and Rosiland Herndon Simmons.

My sincere condolences to the Groomes Family. Jimmy was an employee of my Father’s business back in the 80’s until he went to work for KC. I was privileged enough to get to work with Jimmy in our shop. Jimmy was very talented and was a good mentor. I learned a lot of my skills working with Jimmy and the others. Thank you for that and Thank you for your service to our Country, Jimmy! May you RIP….
