So saddened to hear about cousin Peter's death. He was sort of a pen pal writing notes and postcards and keeping in touch with Aunt Ruthie and I. I've been trying to call him but his mailbox was full and I haven't gotten through. Last week he sent me his number and I was planning on calling him for his birthday. When he visited years ago we played some games of pinochle and had lots of fun. We often spoke in spring and summer about how our gardens were growing. He was very proud of his children and grandchildren and so happy his grandson would carry on the Wawrzonkiewicz name! I'm sure there's another polka party taking place in heaven and our family is dancing up a storm. I prayed for him at morning mass today 2/1/24 and for all our family both living and deceased. Prayed the rosary and chaplet in his honor. May Peter rest in peace and may God grant all of us His true peace. Blessings to everyone in our family.
