Obituary of John Dean Inzer

John Dean Inzer, Age 73,   passed away at his residence in South Carolina on Tuesday, December 19, 2023.  He was born in Houston TX and  lived in Shreveport LA where his golf skills flourished. After joining the Coast Guard in 1974, John was stationed in Honolulu where he continued to excel in golf.  He was a life member of the Professional Golfers Assn of America.    As an Assistant Golf Pro at Waialae Country Club and Head Professional at Hawaii Kai Golf Course in Honolulu, he excelled in teaching others the love for the game.  After his golf career, John became a Realtor Associate with Choi International where he joined his wife of 42 years, Gwen Inzer, to assist one of Hawaii’s top Brokers.  In 2022, a new retirement lifestyle began in Aiken, S.C.  John loved cooking, Van Morrison, and a good bargain.  

John is survived by his wife Gwendolyn Inzer, of Aiken, S.C. as well as his brother William L. Inzer and sister in law Candace L Inzer of Baldwin City, Kansas.
