Around every week or so i would catch John barbequing in their carport on his Weber grill. He was so proud of his cooking and he usually had a great steak with vegetables on it.
He even would come by with a plate for us since we lived next door for us to eat. Very considerate.
I think because i always praised his grilling the day he left Hawaii for Aiken he gave me his Weber grill which was in good shape.
So when i'm grilling with the Weber i always think of John. He was the grilling maestro of KVE.
