Q: What was Eleanor like as a child?
A: Ellie was my first cousin and I loved when we got to see each other as children. She was always smart and pretty. She had a sweetness about her.
May we remember that sweetness and the precious memories of time spent with her. May God hold you all in his loving arms as you grieve this terrible loss. Prayers of peace, comfort and love for you all.
Picture is Rose Lockhart, Ellie in the middle and Kathy Pilz. Kathy and I are identical twins so I kinda guessed our identities in this picture.

Q: What will you never forget about Eleanor?
A: First I would like to express my deepest sympathy to Mickey, Amanda, Tim, and Laura. I have known Ellie a long time, we graduated from high school together, went to nursing school together, and both worked at Aiken Hospital and University Hospital. We both served on the Care Team at Memorial Baptist Church, and we did face painting together at the Pineapple Festival at Memorial Baptist Church. One of my favorite memories is when Ellie made two of her Pound cakes with the chocolate icing to sell at the pineapple festival bake sale. On the day she brought them to the church, a church member immediately bought one of the pound cakes. Then before they left your Dad bought the other pound cake. That memory makes me smile to this day. She did share with me, a piece of the cake that Mickey bought, and thankfully the recipe too. I will miss your mom, her smile, her laughter and her kindness. May she Rest In Peace. Prayers for comfort for the family, love Janet Burckhalter.

I worked for many years with Ellie in ICU at Aiken Hospital. We developed a close friendship & working.
relationship. I had a sincere respect for her for her advanced knowledge & bedside manner for her patients. I was truly saddened on her passing. May God provide her family with peace & comfort in the days ahead. She was one of a kind. Love you, Ellie. REST IN PEACE. Isabelle (Izzy) Messer

I remember when she would take us to the beach and the time she had just gotten her new Camero. All the sleep overs at the house Amanda and I use to do as well. Many prayers and hugs to the family. Ellie was great person and an awesome mother! She will definitely be missed!
