Our family was a close neighbor to the Scott family when we all lived in Warren, Ohio. There were 4 kids in their family, and we had 5. Mr. Scott was a kind, hard-working, faith-filled, and adventurous family man. Karen, his daughter, was my best friend growing up. I loved going over to her house as there was always something fun to do. Mr. Scott enjoyed taking his family camping, canoeing, hiking and would leave the camper up in the yard for us to play in and let us sleep over in the camper under the stars. He would play ball with us in what I thought was the biggest yard on the block. During summers they would picnic outside and invite neighborhood kiddos to come and eat with their family. Hotdogs, corn on the cob, watermelon with seed spitting contests...water balloon fights! We would ride bikes and eat popsicles! Mrs. Scott made all of the wonderful times happen as well...because they were the best neighbors to grow up with in Ohio. Just the fondest memories of the whole family! Our condolences to the entire family. Love Lora and the entire Brown Family.
