I had an opportunity to meet Dan at a polo match. Our cars were parked side by side. We stayed in contact over the couple of years. I was on the board of the SPCA and heard he had adopted Summer. We have an event called Yappy Hour which he and Summer were both very active. We supported him during his medical problems during the past couple years. He loved Summer so much and was always showing us the gifts he bought her. (lucky girl!). He final decided to move to Cumberland Village, and was always telling me the biggest mistake he made was not to do it sooner! He loved the people, the organization, and became the Ambassador of the Cumberland. We will miss his positive attitude on life. I am sure he is taking charge of his new environment.
