Papa,
You were the apple of my eye. From the very moment I can remember when I was young, you were my absolute favorite person in the world. When I would call to check in on you and grandma as a little girl, anything that Grandma would tell me I didn’t trust or believe until Papa would get on the line and confirm it to be true. You always made me feel so special. All my summers as a child that I spent with you are forever in my heart. I know you’re in a much brighter place with the Lord and that’s alright with me. You were the most loving, caring, and adored grandfather. All of your grandchildren knew how loved we all were. God bless you Papa. I love you.
Love,
Your ladybug

To Maxine and the entire Chennault family;
Susan and I send our deepest condolences to you and the entire family. You and Henry’s sacrifice and investment in the First Baptist Church of Kingfisher still bears fruit to this day. Henry’s gentle and encouraging spirit was a breath of fresh air and exactly what our church needed at the time. I firmly believe Henry understood his investment led by the Holy Spirit was eternal wherever he ministered. We are forever thankful for Henry’s imprint on our church and our lives personally.
Susan and I pray the Lord’s comfort and blessing on your dear family and I look forward to reuniting with my friend and mentor in glory.
God bless.

It was an honor and a privilege to be there to help comfort and aide Henry and support Maxine during his final days with family and friends at home. A thoughtful and brilliant man with an undying sense of humor, the lessons he shared in the few visits we had will never be forgotten.
Thank You Henry for your timely teachings, and incredible inspiration.

Henry was a special person, great pastor, and friend. He married Marvin and me when he first came to Aiken in 1975, also preached Marvin's funeral in 2016. Maxine, Mark, and Mike, it is with a heavy heart that prayers go up for you. May God's blessings be with you at this time. He is with his loving Lord.

This was not his home, and it’s not mine either! I am very thankful for Uncle Henry and the Labor he did for THE WORD. There is no way I would have received Salvation without the example he and other believers set for me throughout my life.
“Lord I am thankful that Uncle Henry answered the call and was chosen (Mathew 22:14) and that he Labored for Your Harvest (Luke 10:2), Lord thank you for blessing me with such a great Uncle, Lord I pray for those less blessed that don’t know you that they would see brotherly love in us and see us living One Day at a Time in Christ and come to know Salvation and receive Him, Lord fill us with your Holy Spirit and with Unction for Your WORD and the opportunity to share it Amen.”
I am saddened but full of Joy to write this knowing that I too like Uncle Henry will one day go home. So to the rest of my Family and my other Brothers and Sisters, Shalom
Very Truly Yours Brent K DuBois
