To the Owens family,
We were so saddened to hear of Tom’s passing. We had the honor and privilege of attending high school with Tom; he was well liked and a friend to all. He was a stand-out athlete on Coach Stan Arnzen’s red-hot Wildcat basketball teams, and was inducted into the prestigious Newport High School Athletic Hall of Fame. Tom will forever be one of “Stan’s Boys.”
Our thoughts and prayers are with Tom’s family and many friends during this difficult time.
May the Good Lord hold Tom in His loving arms.
Rest well, friend.
Our deepest sympathy,
Lou and Donna (Arnzen) Dahmann

I worked with Tom in the Akron, Ohio Office of the FBI from 1973 to 1976. What a wonderful guy to work with. Always a positive attitude and always willing to help others. On one of my cases, Tom did such a thorough search of a subject we had arrested that he found an incriminating document that the guy had folded up and hidden in his shoe! I remember learning that Tom was on the Arizona State University Basketball team that was the last team to beat UCLA in the national tournament before UCLA made it's long string of yearly national championships back in the 1960's. I pray that the Lord will bring strength and comfort to all of those who loved Tom and who mourn his loss.

Diane and I will miss Tom. He had been a friend since 1973 when we met in Akron, OH where we worked together in the FBI Akron Resident Agency. We have stayed in touch over the years. I will miss our periodic telephone conversations in which we caught up on the FBI, world events and our families. He loved his girls and Ellen. We last met for dinner a couple years ago in Memphis. Our condolences to his family.
