Carol and family...I did not know Rik for a very long time, but I did consider him a very good friend. We met at Sterling Country Club in Massachusetts where we played a lot of golf together and shared a few "adult beverages" as well. I am saddened to know Rik is gone but, he surely is in a better place.

My deepest condolences to Rick's family. I knew Rick growing up in Northbrook and as a good friend of my brother (Allen Carter). It was such a great time in life for us all playing hockey or skating on the swamp. Later on he accompanied Allen to spend time with me in CA and boy did we have some great laughs. I'm so sorry to hear of Rick's passing. We were all friends back in the Worcester Concert Choir days. I have such fun memories of choir days and may you all have those great memories to hold on to as well.

It's so pleasantly indelible in my memory that I still hear Rik in my inner ear singing (beautifully) the treble solo in "Lead me, Lord," which we sang together when choirboys at All Saints, Worcester.
