We moved to Aiken in 1990. Becky & Dick Magner were some of the first to welcome us to the neighborhood on Partridge Drive.
Becky loved God, family, & her neighbors! Her love for God was so evident in the tireless way she cared for Mr Dick during his long illness. When he passed away she consoled others & shared her testimony & faith in how God would sustain her.
She bragged on her family often. She was so proud of her heritage and the way she was loved as a child by her Aunt & Uncle who cared for she and her siblings after the passing of her parents.
She was always faithful to her neighbors with phone calls, prayers & anything she could do to help when we faced losses or challenges. She made beautiful afghans with love and gave to all her friends. Some were donated to different charities such as Hurricane Katrina victims .
Yes we will surely miss Miss Becky and the cute jokes, stories and history that she shared with us !
