When I moved to Aiken in 2008 I was introduced to Ron by Greg Myers. Ron immediately became my friend and included me in his golf and card groups. I played cards with Ron the evening before his passing and I consider that a gift. He was smiling and laughing Wednesday evening, the way I will always remember him.
