Sam is and was one of the dearest friends I ever had or will have. I apologize for my delay in response. I left Utah in 1983.
I met Sam when I was in 5th Grade. I had been noticing him since I was in 3rd grade.
I remember going roller skating with Sam when I was in 5th grade on Friday nights. Sam is the reason I still enjoy skating after all of these years.
I was so happy to learn that you and your twin Marty were at St Joseph High when I began my freshman year there. Even though I did not see you all the time, it gave me a huge sense of comfort simply knowing that I was not alone.
I send my heartfelt condolences to your family. The last time I saw Sam was in 1981. I will NEVER forget his humor, compassion or friendship.
Sam will always have a very special place in my heart.
Rest In Peace dear friend. I will never forget you!
