I wanted to post a pictures of the Frelin's in their natural surrounding. This was at the Special Olympics games where Larry led the Marine Corps League in coordinating the event. He also touched so many through coordination of the Toys for Tots campaign across the CSRA. The entire community feels his loss.
Larry was one of the kindest gentleman I know. He was always upbeat and outgoing. He is gone too soon.

This was indeed a deep loss for Larry’s family and the entire community. I worked with him at the Savannah River National Lab and it was a distinct pleasure. He was always upbeat even when steering through rough organizational waters. My sincerest sympathies to his family.

I was so saddened to hear of Larry's passing. He was always a good friend. I worked with Larry at the Savannah River National Laboratory attempting to resolve financial and business related problems, issues and difficult situations, of which there were very many. Larry was always professional, honest, patient, fair minded and kind. He had a great sense of humor that went a long way to setting a good mood for problem solving. He was a very good man: a marine to the bone. It was an honor to know him and a privilege to work with him. He is dearly missed. His family are in our prayers.

Larry and I worked together at SRS. His office was across the hall from mine and we would share frustrations of work daily. He was a good listener, a great joke teller and had an infectious laugh that warmed your heart. I use to see he and his oh so sweet wife at dinner often and it always made my day. His smile and laugh will be a wonderful memory and for that I am grateful. May God bless his wife family as I know his absence will be great.

Keeping you all in our thoughts and prayers. Larry’s servant leader example in all aspects of his life, especially with the corps and veterans of Aiken, will be sorely missed.

I was a colleague of Larry at Savanah River National Laboratory. We were both members of the Partners in Friendship group in Aiken, and I often spoke with him at Kroger's in Aiken. He was a friendly gentleman always. He was an effective financial manager at SRNL, and no doubt for the other organizations he belonged to. My best wishes and condolence to his family and friends during this sad time.

To all friends and family of Larry, Natalie and I wish to express our deep sorrow for the passing of our dear friend. Larry, a fellow Marine, always had a huge smile on his face whenever I had the priviledge of greeting him each morning, afternoon or evening going through the SRNL gate. I used to visit with him in his office just outside of Shirley Boggs desk area. Jeff Griffin used to be there as well as I recall. If there's anything we can do to ease the pain, enhance the joy or just jog a few memories please let us know. Danny & Natalie Himsey 803-443-8343
