Mass of Christian Burial for Mrs. Patricia ?Patsy? Jean Ferko will be celebrated in Ohio. A Christian wake service will be held Friday, June 14, 2002 at 7 PM at St. Mary Help of Christians Catholic Church, Aiken, SC, with Reverend Gade Show Reddy officiating. The family will receive friends following the wake service at the church on Friday until 9 PM. Serving as pallbearers will be sons, Timothy and Daniel Ferko, brother, Leonard Palguta, and close family friends, Douglas Snyder, Edwin Griffin, and Douglas McLane. Mrs. Ferko, 69, of Aiken, SC, wife of Mr. George E. Ferko, died Thursday, morning, June 13, 2002 at Aiken Regional Medical Centers. Born in Cleveland, OH, a daughter of the late John and Agnes Bravis Palguta, she relocated to Aiken, SC, in 1996 where she became a communicant of St. Mary Help of Christians Catholic Church and participated in Perpetual Adoration. In addition to her husband George, sons, Timothy George Ferko, Cleveland, OH, and Chief Petty Officer Daniel John Ferko, Key West, FL; daughters, Patrice Ann Ferko, Aiken, SC, and Maureen Marie Ferko, Cleveland, OH; brother, Leonard Palguta and his wife, Becky, Aiken, SC; sister-in-law, Mary H. Ferko, Cleveland, OH; three grandchildren, Timothy Joseph Ferko, Matthew John Ferko, and Richard Daniel Ferko. A brother, John ?Jack? Palguta, preceded her in death.
