My grandmother took me to the "Scissor Wizard" when I was a little boy. It must have been more than 35 years ago, now. Like many kids, I didn't like haircuts, but she put me at ease and was so friendly, it took all the anxiety away. All these years later, I still remember that. Some people are a real ray of sunshine in the lives of others, and I bet she was that for a lot of people. My condolences to her loved ones.

I first met Faye and her family while we were members of St. Paul Methodist Church in New Ellenton. As we grew up to become teenagers, we got to know each other better, as my brothers started a band and we would see each other at different places. .Our parents used to go to Augusta together on date nights. I am guessing they needed a break from us kids. Faye always had a big smile on her face. She and Hank were so good to my mother, Roxy Bouknight, when she was still here with us. May
God watch over her and may God be with all of her family as they face the days ahead without her. We send our love!

I have known Faye just about all of my life. When we’re young and full of piss and vinegar she, Patti Honea and I would sneak out of the house and run all over the golf course not really doing anything but thought it was fun to run around in our pajamas knowing that our parents would kick our behind. And we would go to Richardson Lake and pretend that we were mermaids in the ocean with humans trying to catch us. Silly I know but such great memories! I loved her and her family the world has lost an angel and heaven has gained one.Fly pain free my dear friend until we meet again. I love you and you will be missed!
