Dear Louise, we share your deep sense of loss over Don's passing. We always appreciated his pleasant manner and his efforts to enable us square dancers to enjoy ourselves while also bettering ourselves. He continued to work hard at this even when he wasn't feeling very well. He was such a fine person. We extend our heartfelt condolences to you and to your family.

We will always think of Don when we see or hear Square Dance music. We shared so many great weekends traveling with Don and Louise. We proudly followed him for he was our Square Dance Caller. We traveled to far away places and made many memories .
One of our favorite memories is watching Don tell a story and every time he forgot a word, Louise would very quietly whisper it to him.. What a beautiful memory!

Dear family, we join you in celebrating Don’s lovely presence and we grieve that he is no longer here in person.
Robert and I absolutely delighted in his joyful demeanor and square dance calling. He shared funny stories and giggled when he heard other stories being told.
We have a small statue in our yard, given to us by my brother, which has a sweet and impish smile which has reminded us of Don for years. The statue continues to smile and convey Don’s presence to us.
Louise, I can’t even imagine the loss you must feel for your life partner. Continue to be good to yourself and to be patient as you experience your grief. Know that we love you.
