I am so sorry to see Bob’s passing in ECSU’s magazine. He was a kind really nice person! I knew him and his family back in the late 60s & 70s. I’m sure he tried to teach me golf at Eastern. My thoughts are with his wife, Mindy and Michael.

Bob was one of a kind. He was ahead of his time in women's athletics and many of us benefited from his support and advocacy. I was lucky to be one of the early players when he first started coaching women. We were very successful back then and his teams continued their winning ways for many years. Bob was a friend and I am so blessed to have been and still be a part of Michael and Mindy's lives. They are two very special people. Bob will be missed but his legacy will live on.

Even though he wasn’t my biological grandfather I always Loved him like he was. Every since I met Bob and Judy Miller I felt a close connection to them. Every time I went to visit him he had a smile and said there she is it really made me happy to see him smile. You will always be a part of me grandpa and I will never forget you. I promise to stay and be there for your wonderful wife Judy. ❤️❤️

I am a best friend of Mr. Miller’s daughter, Mindy. When I was growing up I spent a lot of time with the Miller’s. Mr. Miller taught me so much about being empathetic and how to really listen to others. He was a great father to his kids (really to all of us youngsters who hung out at either the house or the gym). Mr. Miller was truly ahead of his time and I only have fond memories of him!

We met Dr. Miller at a different phase of life and he will be dearly missed. He always smiled when we mentioned Judy or Buddy. He had beautiful blue eyes and just a kind disposition and a lovely smile. May God watch over him and bring peace and comfort at this difficult time to his family.
