Such sadness to you all. I will miss Martha and her sassy ways and funny sense of
humor. She was a crusty old brood and so funny on the golf course.
I thank God for placing us on the same block at the end of our reign. She loved her kids and was proud of you all. She referred to Bob as "He" often and together you two showed how fabulous a relationship can be for most of your lives. I marveled at your comradery.
We will miss Mar dearly and bless God for having wonderful friends waiting for us.
She promised that she would not be in the heavenly choir but said that she would be
painting the scenery.
Blessings, Sandy

Dear Bob, Bobby, Gayle, Leigh and Families:
I offer my heartfelt condolences in the death of your beloved wife, mother, grandmother and mother-in-law. (Eileen joins me in expressing condolences.) May God comfort and console all of you, and give y'all the courage and strength to carry on.
I had known Martha Gayle -- as we all called her -- growing up in Brockway. In fact, every body in Brockway knew her!
She often hung out in her parents' popular Brockway Wallpaper and Paint Store, on Main Street -- a great gal about town...friendly, jovial, talkative and precocious.
May she now rest in peace.
Sharing an old Irish Blessing:
" May the road rise to meet you;
May the wind be always at your back;
May the Sun shine warm upon your face;
May the rains fall soft upon your fields, and,
Until you meet again with Martha Gayle,
May God hold you in the palm of His hand."
Love, joy, peace and prayers,
Doc Adams (and Eileen Torretti Adams)

Gayle and Family:
We are thinking of you in this time of sorrow. Please let all the great memories of your Mom get you through this difficult time. It is never easy saying good by, but know that she is looking down on you all and is super proud of each of you. Time heals all wounds and this too will get easier with time as you have a chance to celebrate your Mom’s life.
With Love, Dax, Jan and the entire Thomas family. Also, thank you so much for being there for me when I lost my Mom 2 months ago.

With Deepest Sympathy! Martha was a great artist and a fun loving friend. She would call out of clear blue and say are you ready to go to the Morris Museum and lunch afterwards. Not much slowed Martha down.
She was a great artist however the cancer unfortunately slowed down to a stop.
My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family during this difficult time.4LAdq

I’ve known Mrs. DeMore since I was a little girl. I have always thought of her fondly for her kindness and warmness. She always had time to talk and she made me feel important when she sincerely listened to my answer after she asked me how I was doing. I always would think about how rare it was to know someone that really took the time to listen. Maybe perhaps she knew I didn’t have anyone else? No. I’m certain it was because this was just the kind of sweet person that she was. I liked Mrs. DeMore and she will always be in my thoughts. I hope to see her again one day.
