Paula, Mother and I are deeply saddened about your mother. Janet was of mothers favorite friends. She talked about all the fun times they had together. Janet was one of the first women she met moving to Aiken and they were truely good friends for life time. She was truely a special person and one of a kind for her graciousness. Dear PAULA & Family, My heart was crushed for the loss of your wonderful mother.She will be miss greatly.I loved her beautiful smile and sweet spirit. She has a wonderful family that loved and supported her until the end.I know that time got very hard. To the McMillan family I just found out about Janet my mom told me. I am really sorry we used to enjoy sitting at the table with her and my grandmother Verita Dewitt talking all together. We just lost our grandma on Sunday. It has been hard for us but I know Janet and my grandmother is up in heaven rejoicing together with the Lord. I am Verita Dewitt's granddaughter and Joyce Pearson is my mom. Your family in our thoughts and prayers. May Janet rest in peace and May God bless you all.

Dear Paula and family, It was a real shock to learn of Ms. Janet's passing this morning after losing mother on Sunday. My first vision was of Mother and Ms. Janet finally getting to know each other, talk, laugh, sing and dance in heaven. Both are free today of that ugly disease Alzheimer's that robbed them of the joy of sharing their last days with their loved ones. I will alway remember the first time I met Ms. Janet. Her beautiful smile and graceful way stole my heart. Even deep in Alzheimer's you felt the love that was in her heart. My condolences to a beautiful family. My thoughts and prayers are with each of you. Just take comfort in knowing that she is free from the bondage of Alzheimer's today.
