Louis Baker Cochran Sandra L. Cochran JACKSON, SC- Mr. Louis Baker Cochran, age 74, and Mrs. Sandra L. Cochran, age 70, passed away Saturday, December 5, 2015. Mr. Cochran, affectionately known as "Baker," was born August 22, 1941 in Yuma, AZ to the late Louis Odell Cochran and the late Irma Lela O'Neal Cochran. Mr. Cochran received his Bachelor's Degree and retired as a Civil Engineer. He loved children and taught with the Aiken County Public School System and worked for Lowe's in Aiken. Mrs. Cochran was born January 30, 1945 in Charleston, South Carolina to the late Ernest Hilton and the late Mildred Russell Hilton. She received her Master's Degree and worked as a Training Manager for Computer Sciences Corp. She enjoyed historic organizations and re-enactments. Both Mr. and Mrs. Cochran shared a love for animals, especially horses on their farm in Jackson. Survivors include two daughters, Andrea Culp (David) and Cynthia Canady; six grandchildren, Christian, Louis, Alexandria, Aaron, Stephen, and Bryan. Mr. Cochran is additionally survived by a sister, Suzanne Mundy (Richard), and two nephews, Neal and Steven Mundy. He was preceded in death by his parents and his first wife, Faith Cochran. A memorial service will be held at 11:00 AM Saturday, December 19, 2015 in the George Funeral Chapel. The Reverend Al Branson will officiate. The family will receive friends following the service at the funeral home.
