Hi Joanna..I was her other friend standing up at their wedding..Wish I had gotten to know Baker better..but was not able to visit with them much. I still have good memories from 12 days that I spent with them at their Tuscon home...

Louis Cochran was my dad and Sandra was my step-mom and I remember my dad and I would play basketball or mini golf and he was always there for me and he was an amazing dad and granddad to my 6 sons. I last talked to him and Sandra on Thanksgiving and we had a good conversation and i was talking about moving there with them. Sandra always gave me good advice. I'm very heartbroken and torn apart. R.I.P. Daddy and Sandra. I love and miss you

The love for animals will continue with them on there journey . I'm sure Jack will be right by them as he always was. May GOD give ya'll comfort and Peace. Blessed be those that give and show love as Baker and Sandy did. Lori Bennett

I will always remember fondly when Mr. Cochran subbed an entire semester in my freshman Physical Science class when my teacher had knee surgery. He will be missed greatly by myself and I'm sure many other graduates of Silver Bluff High School whom he was a wonderful example to. Praying for his family.

I have known Sandy since 1997, I cared for her and her cats for many years. Sandy was always so funny and sweet to everyone she meet. Rarely saw her upset about anything unless it was about abuse to any animal. If I had a bad day before I would go to her house she would have my spirits lifted before I left.
I meet Baker in 1998. He made Sandy so happy and she brought joy and light to his life as well. Baker like to kid around but his biggest thing is that he wanted you to learn something new that you may not have known before you saw him that day. He loved to discuss his work and anything on history. He enjoyed giving that knowledge to his students.
When it came time for Sandy and Baker to wed, there was so much excitement. I helped with the wedding, myself as madron of honor, my son was a groomsman, carrying Sandy"s beloved cat in a basket down the aisle, one daughter was a bridesmaid and the other a flower girl. The joy that day was LARGE.
I will miss them both so much. Rest in Peace my dear dear friends. Relish in the rewards that your heavenly home now offers. I love you both.

My name is Wayne Moore and I own Moore and Associates Engineering and Consulting, Inc. in North Augusta. I hired Baker back in 2007 as an unscheduled part-time Civil Engineer/Construction Manager. He assisted us with projects at the DOE SRS MOX facility as well as at other locations. What I remember about Baker is that he was soft spoken and kind and a very thorough engineer. I also know that he had a love for his wife and for horses and for engineering and construction. I also believe he had a love for teaching. He and his wife attended one or more of our company Christmas parties. I remember her as being sweet and kind. They will both be sorely missed.
With my heart-felt condolences,
Wayne Moore and the staff of M&A
