Working at the Engineering Dept. at the City of Aiken, I met Jim when he first started his Village at Pin Oak Farm. Thru the years he has stopped in several times on business, but he always stood out among other developers. He always was cheerful and always welcomed my hugs and would fill me in on his plans and dreams. I can still feel the positive energy he would put out during his struggles with his illness. I learned a lot from Jim about having a positive attitude and never letting your illness rule your heart and mind. "You will be missed, Jim....you were definitely one of the good guys I've dealt with thru the years."
