Dear Rice Family,
Please accept my sincere condolences for your loss. May you find comfort in your loving memories, and in knowing that God is "near to those that are broken at heart; and those who are crushed in spirit he saves." Psalm 34;18 Our loving Creator has promised to soon "swallow up death forever...and wipe the tears from all faces." Isaiah 25;8 With deepest sympathy,

Dear Janice, Paul, and Christine,
My condolences on Ed's passing and your loss. I have nothing but good memories of him from all the years.
Also, my condolences on behalf of Mom. I know that she and Ed were very close, and she told me how they kept postmasters in both South Carolina and Massachusetts flummoxed with the volume of letters that they continually sent back and forth.
Our best wishes at this difficult time.

Ed will be missed not only by his family but his friends as well. He was a man with an easy laugh who loved sports, especially baseball. His death has left an empty space in many lives. My thoughts and prayers are with you Janice and your family.

Ed was cheerful man who had a positive outlook and was a good friend of mine for over ten years and I will miss him. Ed was a big Boston Red Sox fan and loved talking about them especially over a breakfast at the local I-hop. My thoughts and prayers are with Janice and her family.
