To the family of Mr. Bryant,
I feel your hurt, having lost my grandmother in Jan. Please note 1 Cor 1:3-4 where in part it says that God is a "God of all comfort."
I have a free brochure called "When Someone You Love Dies" and would be glad to send you a copy if you like. It was a tremendous help to me in my loss. Just let me know.

I remember the time I came to stay with my sister Sandy and Bud for two week over summer break. I was 12 I think, Bud took Ray and I to this place called Indian River or something like that he told me that the sand was always moving and the natives believed it had power. While walking down the riverbed I found a rock in the sand. I thought it was realy cool looking and so did Bud. He took intrest in something that I liked. That was something my dad never did. He made me feel good about myself I wanted to give him something in retrun for taking the time with me.so I gave him the rock. I know it sounds funny, but that was all I had and to give. It seamed to make him happy just the way he made me feel good by taking the time with me. From time to times I would thing back on that day, and if he realy keep that old rock. I found out about 3 years ago. Bud and the family came up to VA. For a short visit. At a cookout bud pulld me off to the side and ask me if I rememberd that wk. With them and going to that old riverbed. I told him I did with lots of enthusiasm, and then he asks me with a big smile on his face ?do you rememberd the rock you gave me?. All I could say was ?yes!? He said,? I?v still got it, and told me were he keeps it in the house. I can?t tell you how good it made me feel that he keep the rock Thanks bud for takeing the time. It meant a lot.
P.S. also remember the 5min. Bath time too?didn?t like that at all. Love you guys. : Bobby

Dear Family,
It seems like yesterday when we were neighbors in College Acres. I always enjoyed being around your family and especially your dad. He was the first person I ever met that liked to deer hunt. I remember his hunting stories and credit him for me now sharing those special times in the woods with my two boys. Thank you for calling and letting me know about his home going. My family and I have you on our prayer list at church and will continue to keep you in our thoughts and prayers.
May the Lord hold you close during this difficult time.
