I was saddened to hear of Ms. Swope's passing after her long illness. My condolances over your loss.
As a child growing up, I have many good memories of Mr & Mrs. Swope. Somewhere I still have some of Mr. Swope's carvings. I rememeber their house was the local bus stop, so I spent many years in the front yard waiting for the bus with Paula Jean and everyone in the neighborhood.
