Obituary of Sarilyn Beason

Mrs. Sarilyn Gladney Beason, 67, passed away peacefully on Monday, October 10, 2016 at Pruitt Health Care Facility following a lengthy illness.
Mrs. Beason was born on December 7, 1948 in Albany, Ga., a daughter of the late Roy Willie & Helen Sinquefield Gladney. She was a retired claims specialist for the Social Security Administration and was a member of Shiloh Baptist Church.
Survivors include her son, Charles Crockett Beason III of Aiken, S.C.; a daughter, Jean Beason of Rock Hill, S.C.; a granddaughter, Kailey Beason and a grandson, Lucas Beason both of Aiken: a brother David (Darlene) Gladney of Hendersonville, Ga.; a sister, Martha (Steve) Waller of Chula, Ga. and a large number of nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents she was pre-deceased by a sister, Peggy G. Casey and a great nephew, Andrew Casey.
Funeral Services will be conducted on Thursday, October 13 at 4:00p.m. at Shiloh Baptist Church with Dr. Chris Masters officiating. Interment will follow in the church cemetery.
Active Pallbearers will be: Chad Pilgrim, Kirk Pilgrim, Van Willing, Earnest Glover, Billy Blackman, Dale Sharp, Johnny Salters & Jeremiah Jaramillo. Honorary Pallbearers will be the members of the Center Fire Department.
The family is at the home of her son, Crockett Beason, and will receive friends from 5-6:30p.m. Wednesday evening at the Historic George Funeral Home, 211 Park Ave. SW, Aiken, SC 29801.
