Remembering the summers at the cottage with Aunt Marie and Uncle Parker and how they always welcomed me and made me feel genuinely loved and appreciated.Marie was blessed with the"gift of gab" and I remember looking forward to the big, warm hugs she always gave and the conversations we would have. She would always share with pride her love for her family! She was a wonderful person who was smart, witty, and showed much wisdom from her life of experiences. She and Parker will live on in my heart forever! My heartfelt sympathy to the family of Marie. May it comfort you to know that she is now at peace.
"May you always be in harmony with the beauty and wonders of God's world and may his peace surround you at this difficult time."adapted from Chicken Soup for the Soul
Much love,
Judi

The Spencer family and the Williams family send the Deans,Karelitz, Gieseike,Flannagan,DuBose,Zucker Families, and if I missed anyone here, I'm sorry, but you know who you are, our love and prayers. I cannot begin to count the hours spent back and forth at each other's homes through out these many decades. You "old" friends mean the world to me. Both Mr. and Mrs. Deans were a large part of my life, and have and still will
"stay" with me in innumerable ways. And now, Peace at last, Peace at last. With much love, Terry

Marie came to live with me and Catherine after she left Aiken. She immediately made friends with our two dogs and they were never far apart during her stay with us. I have fond memories of three spending their days out on our patio basking in the warmth of the Florida sun.

Dear Peggy, Catherine and family,
Our family sends love, prayers and heartfelt condolences for your loss of Marie. She was a dear friend to Mom till Mom passed 3 years ago. Our families have a long history together and one of my favorite memories is when Parker and Dad took you Peg and me trick or treating and got a wee bee tipsy along the way, collecting drinks while we collected candy! I didn't know my dad was more than tipsy until he fell asleep in the chair and mom said he was "inebriated". LOL...I never knew whose mother could talk the longest...Marie or Butch...it's was a draw I guess...good thing there was no "air time" in those days or our fathers would have gone broke! We remember and cherish the good times for life-long memories.
Love to all,
Chuck, Charles, Chad, Cathy, Ralph, Jason and Megan
