I have so many wonderful and happy memories of Mrs Brodie from my childhood in Aiken. She was so kind,understanding,and very talented..the kind of marvelous person you never froget. My heart goes out to Kari,Judson and Mr Brodie...and I know she lives on in your hearts.
My thoughts and prayers are with you all in this great loss. Sorry I could not attend funeral, but am confined to walking with walker or cain. Am waiting for knee replacement. My love to all, Al
I have the warmest memories visiting the Brodie's both on the Edisto River and in Aiken during the 1950's. Mrs. Brodie was very special, and I have never felt more welcome in anyone's house.
Always cheerful, kind and sweet, she was a generous and uplifting friend, as well, to my mother during her long illness in the 1960's. That was a marvelous gift to our family.
I offer both the most sincere gratitude and sympathy to all of the Brodies.
