Funeral services for Mrs. Cathy Ann Hall will take place on Saturday August 21, 2010 at 11am at George Funeral Home & Cremation Center, 211 Park Ave. SW Aiken with Rev. Larry Brown officiating. Pallbearers will be Doug Congdon, Danny Minolfo, Sal Minolfo, Richard Terlizzi, David Hilton and Joseph Virella. Interment will follow at Jackson Memorial Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Friday, 6-8pm. Memorial donations may be directed to Victory Baptist Church, 620 West Martintown Rd., North Augusta, SC 29841. Mrs. Hall, of North Augusta, died Monday, August 16, 2010 at her residence. A daughter of the late Andrew Virella and Essie Hicks Virella, she was born in Portsmouth, VA and had lived on Long Island, NY before moving to Aiken thirty-five years ago. She was employed by Eye Physicians & Surgeons of Augusta as a patient account representative. She was a devoted member of Victory Baptist Church where she participated in the Care Team Ministry and the Ft. Gordon Soldier's Ministry. Above all she loved God and her family. She is survived by her husband; Dennis Hall, North Augusta, three daughters; Christina "Chrissy" Houseman, Jackson, Melinda "Mindee" Kelly, Irmo, SC and Lindsey Hall, Jackson, two sons; Alex Cunningham, Atlanta, GA and Ryan Hall, currently serving in the USMC in Afghanistan, six sisters; Jeaneene Virella, Jackson, Andrea Minolfo, Aiken, Rita Nunez, New York, Aline Wonoski, North Augusta, Vicky Davis, New York and Lori Anne Virella, California, a brother; Andy Virella, North Augusta and three grandchildren; Aurianna Houseman, Christofer Houseman and Trinity Kelly, with a fourth granddaughter on the way. She will also be missed by her dog, Sophie.
