My condolences go out to Cathy's family. She will always be with you in your memories. I worked with Cathy for a few years and what I remember the most was her beautiful smile and her caring heart. She was always for bubbly and kind. Cathy was a giver and gave her heart to everyone she came in contact with. She will be missed but her memories live on.

Dennis and family, I first met you in the Sunday School Class @ Heights Baptist. I was so impressed with both of your love for the Lord and for each other. It was evident to all that you had a firm foundation. It was evident today at Cathy's funeral the legacy she left behind, and this is the most important thing she could leave, her love for Jesus. Dear family and friends of Cathy,
I met Cathy many years ago at FBCNA. She was in my ladies Sunday School class. She had an infectious smile and such a sweet and gentle voice I shall never forget. She put God first, her family second, and work third. Isn't that how we all should live? She was an example of a true warrior. She never lost her will to learn more about God's word every single day of her short life. I will always remember Cathy as a real lady and hope her family and friends will rely on God's grace to get them through these trying times.

What moves through us is a silence, a quiet sadness, a longing for one more day, one more word, one more touch, we may not understand why you left this earth so soon, or why you left before we were ready to say good-bye, but little by little, we begin to remember not just that you died, but that you lived. I am so sorry for your loss. I have not seen Cathy since I left Rural Metro, but thought of her often as the season's changed or holidays rolled around.
